Winery Visit: Beliveau Farm Winery

This week my friends and I went to Beliveau Farm Winery! We tried to get a tour, but apparently the owner has been having health issues and does not do tours right now. I hope that does not affect my grade too much!  This is the first picture I took when we got to the winery! There was a little bit of rain when we first got there, but it cleared up quickly! This is a picture of the barrels at the front door. They are wood barrels which are usually used to age wine. You cannot see it in the picture, but there is a bunghole in the side of the barrel that can be used to easily access the wine. It is plugged by a cork when the barrel is full and holding wine.  This is the library wines the winery had right inside the front door. They change these wines every so often, but they have a tasting that is based on these.  The semi-sweet tasting is the one I choose to do while we were there.  Crown Jewel '18: This wine was only semi-sweet with a crisp, peach/nectar taste.
